Starlink Internet Access

for Oglala Sioux Tribe Members

The Oglala Sioux Tribe has initiated an Internet Access Project for Oglala Sioux Households located within the exterior boundaries of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation that lack internet access.

The Oglala Sioux Tribe will provide a one time, Starlink Kit to eligible households. The head of household must be an enrolled member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe. You will be required to complete an application confirming that you are a citizen of the Oglala Sioux Tribe and authorize confirmation of your enrollment status. Verification will be completed by the Customer Service Representative of Oglala Lakota Telecommunications LLC.

Details

You must register the free Starlink Kit in your name and agree to a monthly payment of at least $90 per month. The Starlink Kit is free but the Monthly Recurring Cost is the responsibility of the head of household. The Oglala Sioux Tribe will not pay the monthly recurring cost.

The Customer Service Representative will also suggest other options for broadband access that may be free or at a reduced rate from an Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) eligible Internet Service Provider.

The total number of Starlink Kits that can be distributed from the Pilot Internet Access Project is capped at 800 Oglala Sioux Tribal households or until funding is expended.
